The Vidar wouldn't actually take the sting away from this. Just being silly. (Though I am waiting for a b-stock Vidar!)

Keep your courage up. Not sure what happened. But real life has never been easy (at least to me these days). I envy you enjoying vidar though haha.

Sorry to hear that...if it's bad, the Vidar won't help. Confiding in family & friends can change things though. THEN the Vidar might help.

It’s more that I want to try a Vidar in my current setup. Could easily disappoint.

Fortunately the news isn’t life or death. Just narrowly missing out on a dream job. Thought I had it, and it would’ve been most exciting moment of my life (besides getting married). Still have current gig. But I’m really ready to change careers. Will keep moving in new direction, though.

If it didn't happen, it wasn't meant, IMO. The right thing will come along at the right time man. Good luck, career changes ain't easy :) I hope it goes well.

I’m trying to be a little more spiritual, etc., but I’ve never been a destiny type. Life is random. Stuff out of my control prevented landing it this time, but odds are good for figure, and there are career/skill moves I can make now to increase future odds, which is what I’m going to do.

Job update: Ended up with several offers by the end of the summer. Took one that’s a better gig than the one I didn’t get earlier this summer. It’ll also allow me to more easily move into that field later if I want to.
