    ahahaha.. yeah, I've done the sub $1K rodeo, Bill.. and you're absolutely right.. I can't think of any ss options better than this sub $1K. It's unreal how good this sounds. Comparing notes, the GOv2+ Inf. sounds frighteningly close to my (long departed) Pulse X Infinity. LHL's implementation of this SABRE chip is downright magical. SABRE treble that's capable of LIQUIDITY.. WTF is this sorcery?!

    Wait, they changed again? I got mine 2 months ago and I thought it was the new process. Or I guess just the aluminum plates. It's in Bill-P's skilled hands now. Still haven't heard back from LHLabs, not that it matters now.

    Two issues with my original GOv2+Inf: USB port came loose; same issue with the aluminum plates that @fraggler mentioned (in a post): the plates would 'lift' with the slightest pressure.

    @AustinValentine the aluminum plates on the GOv2+Inf I just received as a replacement bond MUCH more effectively to the plastic.. huzzah!

    Yeah, I got fraggler's GOv2+. The separation actually gets worse as the thing gets hot in actual use, and now both panels are separated. But nothing a bit of super glue can't fix...

    have used GOV2+Inf balanced with HE400S for awhile now and indeed, awesomeness. just got an RMA reply to my ticket about metal plates coming off resin case. fingers crossed.
