    Beards often make a man look older. I eschewed (bless you!) mine when I was thirty-something. Felt like I had come out of hiding!

    Looking older three decades later is the last thing I want, but occasional shaving laziness shows that a beard is not really an option. It is patchy now, and uneven in colour. Horrible!

    I guess I'd better ask the doc if I need extra inoculations. I could lick the cat. But I think they might be a bit too clean to help my immune system much.
