Card says "JBL will, at its option, repair any JBL loudspeaker... free of charge, regardless of the age or number of owners, if inspection by an authorized agency reveals that the failure was a direct result of defective original workmanship or material". The grills made of plastic have deteriatored because of the material, and the tweeters have broken a bit as well. Ill have to see...
They'd score a massive point for customer service if they accept your claim. That warranty card sounds like it comes from an age when there were no lawyers!
It says the speakers are supposed to last a lifetime, and the surrounds and plastic grills did not. I don't have the original woofers to prove they failed, but I do have the grills. If they give me anything, ill be happy. I am also missing the wood diffuser panels that go over the woofers, but those will be hard to find.
