    I try to avoid amplifiers that are also space heaters. We have more than enough heat.

    I have a speaker amp that uses four 6c33c’s like the ones in the EC ZD plus 8 6SN7’s. I DO call it my space heater. I save a lot on heating my living room.

    Same problem at my house. You might want to try installing one of the airflow boosters. I leave it on when I’m not in the room, then turn it off when I was to listen to music.

    I finally gave up on using it in the summer, as it regularly is over 100 F. Had to get a solid state for summer. Ridiculous I know.
