        Science was what got me in the door with them. Make Yourself is even better, Morning View was surprising how well they could make radio friendly pop-ish bland stuff, but ACLotM is awesome - they move in and out of tight, almost Prog rock overanalyzed smartypants riffs to more playful, almost throw-away riffs, sort of humor-infused/poking fun at other alt-metal rap/rock.

        Drop just had a drop for the BGVP DM7 IEM. I love my DM6 and I wanted the DM7 but skipped the drop hoping for more colors. After the drop I bought mine from Linsoul for only $20 more than the drop and mine are out for delivery today while the Drop DM7's don't even ship until the end of June, lol. Drop has become a joke.

        Okay, throwing a few more tracks at this little bottom feeder setup with a 36db/oct high pass @ 36hz or so: just thinking out loud, maybe SBAF needs to do a competition for cheapest great sounding speaker setup. Less than $250 speakers/cables/amp. I'll have JBL LSR305s coming in a bit to compare. I'm pretty sure tacking on a cheap AK449X or decently implemented ESS dac wouldn't kill a cheap and cheerful setup.

        Its been a while since i played with things like the "go to" Paradigm Atoms/PSB Alphas, but based on these Miccas, I think this segment has matured a bit. And, cheap ass switching amps have grown a few watts. No where near my Aegirs, but still, for a shade over $100, wtf, it ain't nearly as bad as some folk would have us believe.
