It is on my radar since they were announce at the Canjam in Singapore (I believe). Jude did a sort bit on them and yes it was started by one of the founders of Audeze. I think the first batch are special first editions and are aiming for studio monitor sound signature. Haven't heard anything else.
It's Alex Rosson, who left Audeze to Sankar Thiagusamadram (or however you spell his last name). They founded Audeze together. The Rosson First Edition looks mildly interesting, but I've become less and less enamored by planar magnetics as I gain more experience. Take my opinion with a pound of salt though since I jumped on the ZMF hype train.
I get you @ChaChaRealSmooth since I've got a ticket to ride too (the ZMF hype-train that is). I'm always curious what's out there though & have liked some of/parts of the Audeze sound. Just surprised I haven't heard more from anyone. I guess no ears on them yet.
