You never keep gear long enough to have a good reference. This is why your impressions make no sense.

Having a revolving door of gear is the opposite of the right strategy. You need to stop being a gear spaz and actually spend time with a reference system to understand the nuances of what the hell you're hearing and measuring.

Like it's about the gear, and not the social validation from the content stream.
