I see it's a belt-drive (and you got a new belt :-). How fast is 'a bit'? If not more than a couple of %, you could try making the driven wheel (sub-platter) bigger by putting a rubber band or a few winds of electrical tape around it. I see there are Youtube vids for the LT-5, maybe they're relevant...
Ok, I'll try that. I haven't used it recently, don't remember how fast, but it's pretty noticable. Right now I'm working on polishing the acrylic front.
Don't think I can use that app at it requires you to place your phone on the platter, kind of hard to do when the turntable is vertical. I'll just go the old fashioned way with a strobe disc.
If you run past your speakers fast enough the Doppler effect will probably bring it down to the correct pitch for at least a few milliseconds. You might need a bike depending on the severity of it.
Got a local audio dealer that sells turntables near you? A lot of people bring in their turntable to us that has issues. If its a small thing we can fix it in store. If its something a bit more complex we have a few service centers we use.
Reminds me of the time I spent 45 minutes on the phone with a guy to only realize why his Mojo/Poly wasn't working. The Mojo lit up and had full battery but the Poly battery was dead. Sometimes the simple things allude us.
