To be fair, calling people bad engineers when you're a worse one is the hallmark of every mediocre product manager.

I honestly had no idea about the Zune connection or how high up in MS he was until a few days ago. He’s like a walking Bernie Sanders taking point.

I never used a Zune but I know there were some die-hard Zune lovers. What was wrong with it? Didn't the HD-DVD lose out to Bluray mainly because Sony is the giant in entertainment industry or did it really have some inferiority?

Also, what is the site you are referring to with this guy?

I’m sure there are still people when love their Zunes, but in my experience it appealed to a small slice of people who hated Apple but didn’t care enough about audio to investigate audiophile players. When it existed, there were constantly stories about software updates bricking Zunes, etc.
