It's supposed to be a darn good amp, but there's something to be said for saving the pennies and going big. I imagine that's where you'll end up eventually.

Been there...went through all those amps except Gilmore.
What HP are your main ones and what type of music do you listen to? Go big as in how much?

Current favs are Clears, but also have 600s/650s and ZMF Aeolus. Been looking at T4, DSHA3F and ECP AF or Studio Jr Demoing is difficult so it's sort of hope, leap and pray.

While lI isten to a wide range of music, I'd focus on the best sound for Blues, Jazz and Acoustics.

I’m biased, but Af is great with Jazz and Acoustic music, especially with 800’s and 600’s. DHSA3F should work extremely well with Clears. T4 is not in the same league as the others. I would also put DNA Stratus on a short list to consider. Feel free to PM me if you need any more info.

I really like my ZDT Jr. with the HD800 and HD600. If you decide to go that route, make sure the hum is fixed. I’m in the same space. Can’t decide if I’m ready or want to spend that kind of money. Hope you figure it out.

Also, for me, Af with the feedback mod is best only for folk acoustic music and bass light stuff. Otherwise NFB is great.
