She was a great cat. But the story is true. We had to open windows when we had her, often.

In my case, it was so bad I could almost taste it. Opened the window, turned on the fan, and left for 30 minutes.

Usually a sign of bad digestion. My dog never has smelly farts on a raw diet. He doesn't tolerate kibble though, that gives him diarrhea ever since he was a puppy.

@Riotvan Hmm, not sure if that's it. He's been pretty healthy according to fairly regular checkups, plus I feed him some kibbles + food that I make. It's a recent thing though; might be the small diet change I made. Or it's his treat.

Yeah could be anything. I have strong opinions on dog food though, i consider giving a dog kibble the same as going to mickeyd every day. There are better brands but most of it is junk imo.

I've considered taking him off kibbles altogether. I tried doing that for a bit and he seemed to like the chicken meals. Too bad I can't just ask him.

Yeah and the problem is dogs are f'ing tough and they will mask it if they're feeling bad. So i just look at what comes out haha.

Dogs always have a period of digestive issues with changes to their food. It usually settles down once they adjust.

But we have a hound that can clear a room.

Can you imagine what our farts smell like to our dogs and cats? With their sense of smell? It’s a wonder they want to stay in the same house.

The thing is, I think they like it.

We had a dog who was always taken aback by her own farts. There would be this funny high-pitch squeak, and she would jump up and stare at her backside.

They were not room clearers. Her breath could be. Ever travelled in the back of a car with a dog that has been eating shit?
