Update, switched my brain on and remembered the internet exists and that pianos aren't too hard to open up. For anyone curious, Model 130 with maybe aftermarket engravings? "La Lira". Serial number dates it 1928. Jeebus.
My grandmother played on it a lot before she passed away. It's well out of tune now but I still remember some of the old ditties she'd hammer out while I was trying to study, haha.
And eh, aunt gets a piano and we get a place to live. Asian families. Woo.
I used to work at Gibson and used to hear the calls from the guys next to me from customers calling about pianos. Don't worry about getting it in perfect tune. Just get it in tune with itself to not stress the soundboard.
