When do I get mine?

Start buying modular designed and recycle-proof and upgrade proof gear instead of those f'ing iPhones and MacBooks. Teslas are only affordable if you actually have a decent paying job. Even then you might skip the Tesla for a Toyota Corolla because maintenance.

Oh... I'd sell the tesla (and go on polluting with my diesel VW :-/ ) but I'd use the solar panels.

Oh and... anyone who can even eat on 10% of their future earnings is lucky.

@Deep Funk my MacBook Air bought in 2013 is still going strong, with zero hardware upgrades... well the battery only last 3hrs. Still more than I can say for any windoze machine I have owned during the same span, and Linux is all right too.

Apple used to be okay. Thing is all the hipsters and climate awareness sheeple still fall for shiny Apple products with planned obsolescence awaiting them and fashion products that have a short life-span.

It boggles my mind. "Look how shiny!" "Save the planet!"

Yet another thing about Apple I didn't know: that they are supposed to score environment points?

Plainly, though, there's a lot I don't know about Apple kit, because it doesn't interest me. How, for instance, does it score on repairability?

Bad to impossible. Unless you buy their proper pro-gear which nobody talks about...
