Do you mind a slightly more linear response? We reduced the treble peak and smoothed out the bass to mids transition so even though we didn't reduce bass, it sounds more linear and slightly less punchy. Pads can help you tune a bit.
thanks for the info @CEE TEE, ive been debating them, I hesitated last night cause the measurements make it look like it has an upper midsized depression, which is what turned me off to the Elegia last week, but it does seem to more of a gradual roll in that area, rather than a localized depression on the Elegia, so maybe I wouldn't mind as much.
Maybe you can see those relative differences and/or find some Amiron Home vs. 770 impressions and triangulate. I had time for a very brief listen last night and they are still warm/bassy. Don't let me scare you off with the words "slightly more linear". Slightly smoother might be better!
