Fun fact: the video for Teardrops On My Guitar was filmed in the high school I teach at.

I love both 1989 and Reputation— I listened to the lead single off whatever the new album's called once, decided not to listen to anything else.

lol @Lyander I did the same thing back when Me came out, thought it was super lackluster. But last week I realized I hadn't listened to the rest and just sort of forgot about it, so I decided to rectify that situation :/

@Skyline that's so cool! I imagine it'd have been much more hectic if she'd had the renown she does now back then, haha.

@Lyander It was filmed over the summer, so no major disruptions. She gave the school a very generous gift after her career took off that allowed us to redo our entire sound booth in the auditorium.

That's rather generous of her. Haha, the fact that I'm quite dismissive of her current album aside, she does seem to be relatively less full of herself than many other artists, which is always nice to see. Glad your school has the opportunity for more serious sound work! ;)

Skip Taylor, give Carly Rae a listen. Not joking, if you are going to be pretentious as a Pop artist go the full 10CC or Queen. Do not advertise your drama as interesting content. And if you advertise your drama as interesting content, tell a good story. She used to be a good story teller...
