Similar experience so far with lesser stuffed nozzle. Don't have lot of experience with IEMs but so far sounds little thin to me. Not sure if it the seal or I'm tuned to ZMF house sound
@E_Schaaf will keep that in mind. @Ksaurav402 I'm going head to head with Andros, so not expecting a replacement of Andro for 1/4 the price, but willing to keep an open mind.
My impression after a brief listen was that it's tuned sort of like the andros with a tilt towards clarity. And I really was hoping for a slightly more robust bass response. Most audio things for me need to be anchored in a solid bass presentation. But the problem is it can't really measure up to what the andros do. So it just leaves me a bit underwhelmed.
Bass is good. Bit of a boost in lowest octaves, but is fairly concentrated. Can be a good or bad thing if you want that warmer transition through lower mids.
I think the main problem is there's some sort of glare in the treble, bit of upper mid emphasis. But they're still solid all around, the JVCs.
The nozzle with the most amount of cotton does remove any treble and upper mid nasties but also makes them sound suffocated and low-fi as hell. Until engineers have perfected enclosure design to avoid all resonances and ringing in closed dynamics I think we're gonna have to settle for this if we want decent timbre. Will probably post more impressions later.
Mine as well, blue nozzle is the less stuffed. So far the most interesting thing about these is that they seem to scale a bit better than Andro. Yggdrasil to T3 on low impedance seems to highlight the macrodynamic capabilities of a DD better than Andro. No hiss, really punchy and enjoyable.
