Well some things on craigslist make me money. The Emotiva XPA-2 I got for $200 just sold for $625. But lots of things don't make me money.

I need to buy less expensive alcohol, that will save money. Expensive whiskey is so good though...

But have you confirmed for yourself that the expensive whiskey is actually better than the cheap stuff via double blind tasting?

I was brandy drinker. One day I realised the the expensive real-smooth stuff is only worth it for occasional drinking. For regular drinking, one doesn't actually notice the comparative roughness of the ordinary stuff.

I feel the same way about good tequila. Pricey but so good.

Put 10%in of whatever you make and forget about it.
High score: Take an hour at the bank one day and have the saving go into an S&P500 market tracking fund from vanguard or fidelity. Over 30 years, you'll be a millionaire just from that if you start contributing now 10% of whatever you make.

2008-2011 Challenger R/T. Sounds good, looks good, hauls ass (relatively). Or if you want an import get an 80s CRX and k20 swap it.

Yeah, I don't really like American muscle cars, too big for what they are. CRX is pretty cool, but 80s is old.

Used WRX STI, Lancer Evos, VW GTI... those would definitely be on my list of affordable fun cars to drive and shouldn't be bad on insurance either.
