Quarantine extended to entire northern island. Never was so glad to have shut-in tendencies, though grocery runs are gonna be hell.

India seems to be doing pretty well, so far. Just hoping it is not massive under-reporting with sufferers and even deaths being in denial and not reporting, whilst infecting many others, the while.

Feeling a wee bit scared, though, that it doesn't all blow up in our faces.

@Taverius, Might be wrong, because "On the internet nobody knows you are an Italian." But feeling for you, as I think you are the only Italian I currently know. It must be very scary there.

@Lyander, I think that lockdown, quarantine, incomer exclusion, is all good action. Compare UK! :-(

The books are epistolary novels (new word for me) and actually have post cards and letters in envelopes on the inside! That's part of what I love about these, haha. Very much an immersive experience.

I've not been able to read for fun in years it feels like. Small respite this may be, but it helps.

On SW for HPs, BK worsens the sub-bass extension for Dynamics and it makes Planars take a dark tone.

I wanted to keep my thoughts reserved for now but yep, I preferred the SW comp by a country mile on HD600 and HE4XX— BK was mushy and overly polite in comparison, made me reconsider the target for flat place couplers here haha.

I can imagine. I was once helping a friend EQ his speakers and, we tried to mimic the BK curve and we liked the result. So I am inclined to think it works really well for full-range, neutral sounding speakers.

Recommend the HE-500 with a few mods or (more like AND), though ultra rare, a modded HE-4. The former fills me with
romanticism and dreamyness from head to toe. Excellent extension to both sides, the only headphone that give me mids
like a HD 650, just a bit different, more dreamy, seductive. Overall much better bass.

The HE-4 is fast and agile like a cheetah, very airy and instantaneous. There's no planar like it. Actually I don't know about any other headphone like it. Evan Schaaf mentioned it being like a planar ATH-ADX5000.

I recently got to try the ADX5000 and though I was impressed with its technicalities the tonality was very fatiguing haha. Definitely curious to try an HE4 though! The HE500 I've heard about a lot.

To be honest, not sure about going all in with planars, I'm pretty content with dynamics for now (and building a dedicated system for them...), but if funds allow in the future it'll be a fun project! :)
