Tempting price. What kind of store? Is it like a BestBuy, where the demo units are easily accessible to window shoppers or, is it like a proper camera store, like Precision Camera in Austin? If it's BestBuy types, best to avoid without thinking twice.
Check that the kit is complete, test the device and do you have lenses to test the camera?
If you can get those three things done within an hour, haggle for an extra battery because you had to bring your own lenses. Beautiful camera system, pricey though...
As far as the buy or not you just have to decide whether to roll the dice or not. I would say the odds are with you that things will go fine but there’s of course a chance that they won’t.
BTW, if you’re in the market for a tripod Markins is a great Korean brand of ball heads that is readily available for a steal on the used market there.
