My friend owns one and it's a superb amp especially with the Senns. I tried the HD 600 and 650. It's amazing how much the 650 scales with it.

@Koth Ganesh HD600/650 don't do Teton justice. I'm aware how HD650 scales very well, especially on amps like Studio, but Studio/HD800 is unlistenable. Teton/HD800 on the other hand is glorious and non-fatiguing.

At 5k I would hope for mind blowing!

Would you say better (overall) vs. ZDS?

In my limited exp. with Teton and Zdse:
Teton is smoother , faster, lesser bloom (which I think can level with tube selection) ,more powerful, cleaner and tad brighter than the zdse. ZDSE was absolutely no with planars, no.such problems with Teton

The only amp I still miss.

@songmic how would you compare Studio Jr and Teton?

@ductrung3993 SJR is a more versatile amp, but for HD800, Teton all the way.
