If I run with music I start running to the beat. It happens when walking too.

At least the Bee Gees help to keep you alive.

I do not advise to play Metallica or Slayer when working out. Megadeth might await...

^ Legend has it that good tunes to hum while giving CPR (because correct BPM) include Staying Alive and Another One Bites the Dust. Probably best kept in your head though, especially the latter.

A lot of Disco is in 4/4. If you go too funky or too jazzy you might almost kill the injured person. Syncopation is killer on the dance floor...

Current thinking from latest research is consistent CPR between 100 and 110 BPM will produce best results. Stayin' Alive is 103, Another One Bites the Dust is 110, Macarena is 103. Our AED provides 104 BPM with a psycho-acoustically designed sound to enhance audibility in noisy environments such as sports spaces and airport concourses.

@Biodegraded : which ones, for the music mentioned or for the device I created to evaluate CPR metronomes? I have considerable data.

I was kinda taking the piss - but how to evaluate metronomes, subjectively and/or objectively, does have me intrigued.
