Dynamics killed by a power conditioner?

I'd expect. After conditioners and expensive isolation transformers, I've gone back to direct to outlet. I still use isolation transformers on the digital side though.

I use industrial strips with no surge or conditioning in them, just solid wiring. Not easy to find.

But don't we need some surge protection? isn't plugging in wall outlet directly makes device vulnerable to surge? Just asking

In my area of Colorado, no - surge isn't an issue at all. When I lived in Michigan, surge protection was a necessity.

Yeah we get too many thunderstorms here to chance no surge suppression, but definitely agree with straight out of the wall is best especially for amps.

@MisterRogers any suggestions on where to get a quality industrial strip?

I'd check places that sell tools, work benches, etc. I picked mine up at Micro Centre in DTC / Denver. Look for the long, rectangular ones that are meant for mounting on the underside of a workbench. They tend to have heavier gauge wiring, without surge or conditioning.
