1. Sad, frustrating, surprising how bad the at home setups are for some very successful artists. Some using f'ing iphones and included buds. I see the ones with sweet setups at home as real music lovers, not just professional performers (still love you, John Legend).
2. Discovered Angele and might have found a new guilty listening pleasure. (with props to Eason Chan - never heard of him til now, but really enjoyed his simple Love performance (and looking exactly like my cousin if he still had hair)).
Lol! I wasn't sure he was actually alive at various parts of their performance. Mick was looking/sounding fricking great, and Charlie cracked me up playing his air drums while wearing grandpa clothes.
Did you watch the 'Our Country' version 2 weeks ago? I had the opposite feeling for that one - with just a couple exceptions, every performer sounded like they were mic'ed exactly the same, so how much of that was done in a more-controlled setting, even if in their homes, then lip-synced?
