Actually I had the Airbow 404 version, which is suppose to be the same. Sold them and the SRM-T1S that I refurbed when I started thinning the headphone herd. Still have a SR-202 and SRM-212 to slake my e-stat thirst.
I had an SRD-7 Pro in the beginning, but it didn't really do the Stax earspeakers justice in my opinion. Then I had a SRM-313 I refurbed that was ok, but the SRM-T1S I refurbed later was better. Now it's just the lowly SRM-212 energizer, basically the predecessor to the modern SRM-252.
Not possible to use speaker amp with 313, T1S, 212, or 252. They are stand alone energizers, not transformers. I did try a Pioneer m-22, Cambridge Audio 651, Mitsubishi A-D10, with the SRD-7 Pro, and felt it lacked the detail and attack of a dedicated energizer, kinda slow and soft.
