Which amp did you pick up?

The March 5th 2021 Estimated ship date is pretty far off.

I suppose one can hope it sounds better than the more expensive older brother.

And I will most likey sell my big brother THX amp, lol.

spent some time w/ original big brother and found it to be a nearly perfect desktop IEM amp, as goofy as that sounds. If the new one is 94.7-95.5% with IEMs i see a suitable use case. Will compare directly to Magni 3+ and Asgard3. In a year-ish, LOL.

@yotacowboy I been saying the THX as an IEM amp for a very long time.

It's almost perfect for IEMs, IMO. just can't justify a $400 "perfect" amp for such a limited used case. At $150 it could work.

To be fair, we didn't know that Drop is going to be Droping a price on a new Drop THX amp, I guess due to being called Drop.

Maybe they've learned from over promising and under delivering deadline wise and are being conservative.
