Jotunheim certainly has good synergy with the 650, but I think the SW51+, ZDT Jr., or even a valhalla 2 is what I would recommend to show the nonbelievers on how far the 650s can scale with even affordable amps like those mentioned above. My main issue with the Jot is wide and upfront staging.

@tommytakis that's exactly why I describe myself "minority". lol. While I like 600 with modern tubes including sw51, 650 (modded or not) to me requires "full" transistors to get them right. More specifically want amps with borderline edged sounding on highs.

Btw Jot's upfront presentation was ok to me but too much 2d bothered me until it left from me.

@Vtory No worries, I wasn’t trying to say your preference for Jot was invalid, just wanted to share my rec for the 6x0. You should try the BHA1 with the 6x0, I have a feeling you might like the pairing

That's honestly an interesting amp. I was recommended that amp from another senior sbafer, too. Just had no chance to get my hands on.
