Interesting enough to reach out for a loaner tour?

It's risky. This amp lives in the no man's land between $500-$2k. For reference, the only amps in this price range worth recommending off the top of my head is the EC Black Widow (1 or 2, doesn't matter) and used BHA-1.

Or, it could end up being an American made super SW51. Worth a shot. Maybe he will send us one for review. I'll reach out.

    A super SW51+ already exists. It's just $2800 and called DSHA-3F.

I dunno. 12AX7 preamp tube and 6BQ5 power tubes. That does not seem exciting.

I reached out. I guess I have a thing for supporting local companies and I like more obscure gear. Its fun discovering a hidden gem once in a while. Maybe some of the LA members could give it a listen.

mike sanders from quicksilver has been making tube amps since the 80s. his stuff is legit but not mainstream because he's always been against giving review units to the big mags. this amp looks good, he winds his own transformers and I have never heard an EL-84/6BQ5 amp I disliked.

Even if Mike says no to a loaner tour, I might be tempted to give this amp a shot. There seems to be a very strong following for his speaker amps.

Lol, that looks like any other DIY project, simple psu with electrolitics for convenience. I woudn't pay 100$ for that messy wiring.
