These are all probably priced way out of my league but I hope to get ears on some of these once pandemic chills the eff out. He said he's already semi-retired though so fat chance.
Had the same experience in my quest to get SW51+ repaired! The amp maker/repairman I met was really grumpy and didn't like to say anything more than 2 words per minute though ("Hmm?" "No." "Get out.") which was pretty entertaining and endearing in a way.
@obsiCO so you basically got the amp version of the grumpy but skilled hole in the wall restaurant chef Marvey was talking about in his blog, or online Craig Uthus? XD
