Deciding what color vinyl top to put on my 68 dodge is turning out to be very hard. Original was white.

Have you considered a light tan? That'd go well with that paint too. But I think of white, tan, black my pref would be in that order.

Wait, this remix/remaster is AWFUL. The guitars, and mix as a whole, are way too nasally and forward. Snare sounds like it got replaced by a digital sample. Very bright and nasty sounding mix overall.

I took a quick peek at some of their other remixes/remasters and found they all sound different. Alaska was originally kind of bright and thin, but the remaster is kind of warm and fuzzy. Where the is the consistency?

sounds like a FCA car (Dodge) to me! Buddy had a 150k mile 2nd Gen 2500 and the all front suspension bushings were entirely dissociated from the inner/outer bushing sleeves. FCA doesn't do rubbers so well, apparently.

@yotacowboy Technically it's a Daimler Chrysler, not FCA, as it's a 2005. 05-10 LX/LC cars are known for problem front suspension, which is based on Mercedes S-class.

I sincerely wish that building developers would start hard wiring some CAT5/6 conduits in walls. I've seen some new condos developed with power plugs with USB ports on them, why not add ethernet points for an access point or two?

One can always use an extra router and possibly flash DD-WRT to use it as an access point to connect ethernet to the Pi and turn off the WiFi. Or an old repeater.

And it is a specific set of cabling skills and testing equipment. Which is why, as a get-hands-dirty small-office systems manager, I used to call in the qualified guys to do it.

@JK47 It's a May 1974 pressing. The owner of the shop I bought it from is a self-proclaimed Zappa freak, and he had a ton of really good stuff in the back room. He had others that had mint sleeves but were about 50% more, so I opted for this one.

Did a lot of experimenting with different types of rooms when I played cello more - it really varies based on room acoustics as a whole. A covered ceiling by itself can go both ways.
