I am looking for a 1080Ti but getting it in winter. 1080ti is still a beast.

Hmm I just have an RX 480 right now. Thinking about upgrading eventually. Seems to drive my 3840*1600 monitor fine though

Gonna see what the Big Navi will do before i buy, supposedly pretty beastly. And less of a power hog, i mean 350w+ on the 3090 is gonna be a nice spaceheater. Also i rather deal with Amd since i mainly run linux.

Hmm. Lowly 1070 doing its best to push medium quality on my ultrawide 3440 x 1440 (max 120Hz). Looking at whatever performs best for around $700.

My 1080ti still runs everything I have on max settings at 60fps 1440p. For the games I play, 60fps is just fine, so I don't see upgrading any time soon.

1080Ti is still great if you don't play competitive games.

I have to stick in AMD camp, is the 5700xt the way to go or hold out a bit more? (really want to upgrade a 580 for flight simulator)

    1080ti beta-skipping crew represent!

I'll wait a few months probably though, for AIB 3090 and waterblocks to come out.

I would wait, nvidia is revealing new cards tomorrow and AMD is probably going to respond with leaks or directly. I’m guessing both camps have new cards around the 5700XT price level within a month or two.

We need AMD to give Nvidia some competition at the top end. These creeping prices are getting out of hand. I remember paying about $550 for a 580 lightning back in the day and that was considered the best you could get.

Same @Taverius, only reason im getting a new card is so I can integrate it into the water cooling loop on a new machine I just built. current card doesn't have any blocks available, plus, ive had it for like 3 years at this point, time for an upgrade
