in my opinion blue jeans cable sounds very meh despite using the same wire. I have one I can send you for cost of shipping.

I just received my Oyaide DB-510 cables, so once I get my RCA to BNC adapter from Markertek I'll post some thoughts in the digital cable thread about how it compares to the Blue Jeans Cable 1694A with Canare RCA plugs.

Thanks to everyone for their recommendations. Went with the dyson audio option to hold me over (this one: https://www.dysonaudio.com/products/dyson-audio-furutech-audioquest-cryo-s-pdif-75ohm-digital-audio-cable). Planning on a DIY Furutech (rhodium connectors and silver coax) when the budget permits.

@e.schell I just saw your post here re: the DB-510. Mind sharing your impressions vs. what you may have compared to (maybe in the Digital Cables thread)?

@k4rstar What exactly do you not like about the Blue Jeans 1694A? Particularly interested if it has anything to do with hazy, undefined treble.

poor sense of rhythm and air is what I experience with blue jeans cables. something about the construction.
