I think it's interesting that the metamaterial is only used to absorb the backwave from the tweeter, not the midwoofer. It makes me skeptical of the whole "it sounds like an open baffle speaker" thing. Could still be good of course!

Yeah that part is very confusing to me. They claim the resonator absorbs energy from 600Hz up. But surely the tweeters output falls off significantly above this based on the crossover. So I don’t see the point going down that low if it’s not also addressing part of the the midrange driver’s output.

That's why I think SBAF needs more threads and less all-in-one threads posts. A lot of high quality impressions (much more informative than "official reviews") is buried in those threads.

I think it cuts both ways @nishan99. If you have a thread with only a few posts, it might get fewer views than the same content would if it were posted somewhere else. But yes, a lot of good content gets hidden in big threads sometimes!
