Can health insurance cap payment to a provider 1-2 years after the fact and have the provider bill you? Got a potentially fake medical bill?

Call your insurance company with dates of service in hand and ask them what happened. The provider will probably be less useful (depending upon the competency of the person you are asking), but ask them as well. Assuming it's not "fake" they are just trying to collect a legitimate bill and such actions by the insurance company are almost always legal

Remember you can always negotiate with the provider. Say the bill is $1000, explain to them that you don't have it, you lost your job due to Covid, your cat died, etc. and that if they will take $350 (and send you a reciept with "paid in full") you will give them your CC over the phone

First one explains a lot. Thanks. Problem is I actually have a copy of my plan from dates in question and no where in the plan are the services I received capped (and especially are not capped at the numbers they came up with).

Called insurance during normal business hours mult times only for the automated system to say "outside of normal business hours"... wtf...

Both were in my AF. Both pairs of tubes were old and I'm having no issues with the last pair. 1st pair was Sylvania, 2nd pair was modern prod JJ. 3rd pair w/o issue is also Sylvania.

Focus on eating just enough. Make sure you have enough energy to get things done and train your endurance. It takes time but the gains really toughen you up.

Yeah definitely going to need some new eating habits to get the last 10 off. Main worry is the last 10 will come off w/ "a diet" but come back when "eat normally" again.

First 35 came off via minor lifestyle changes + eating a little less.

Yggdrasil A2 (still not ideal) > Stellaris (rolled to warmer tubes) > thicker copper cable (idk if this made a big difference) > Utopia.

Tried Utopia in past with Stellaris, various Woo amps, Phonitor amps, a $20k+ amp I don't remember the name of (but made other stuff sound very good), and short listens at last meet on popular SBAF amps such as EC AF, 3F, etc.

Also applied about -1dB of software EQ around 5.5k - 6.5k (any more software EQ I feel messes up other stuff).

Same issues still exist for me, mainly the treble spike and the "sharper" sort of sound I hear, but it's definitely enjoyable now. Still prefer the overall sound signature of the Clear but it's nice to go to the next level of technicalities etc with Utopia.

Try Stellia if you get a chance. Tonality is a bit more laid back than Clear, bass more extended, way better technicalities, but feels closed.

ROFLMAO there's no way that's possible

More likely is that they published a mundane result and the journal is wildly misinterpreting it.

A lot of slam in the bass too.

It also illustrates how (competent) modding and tuning is not necessarily making something better/worse, but is often trade-offs and differences more than anything.

HE6se mods are slow b/c I'm too scared to mess something up... Considered opening up the HD6xx for mods once but stopped before I even got the cups off the band due to creaking/groaning and part felt like could break (granted I wasn't that motivated to mod). etc...

Forcing myself through HE6se mods at last though.

Most of my hobbies are outdoors and/or can potentially go bad in <1 sec (like riding a liter bike fast margins of error) but I don't mind mods if I know what they are, how they work, etc. Or even if we remove personal risk w/ a PC - I don't mind tweaking speeds, voltages, timings, etc. at risk of slightly to completely damaging parts that each cost more than HD6xx, etc.

DNA Stellaris - Best headphone amp, especially from a reference or purity perspective that I've heard to date despite a few things not matching personal preference.
EC Af + Cavalli LC - I just like the sound of these 2 amps. Studio Jr was pretty close to Af based on memory but slightly prefer Af.

@Superexchanger I have some pretty random dreams. I like some cats but I'm also varying degrees of allergic to about 2/3rds of cats I've seen.

Either that or knowledge that cats, mostly feral, have started to threaten various penguin populations has built up a subconscious resentment of cats in my life.

Going to guess the knife skills was rolled into one of the cooking courses. Yes, majorly important to where I'd say it's a game changer in the kitch.

I have taken other cooking classes before but have experienced a large variance in what is offered in each cooking class... didn't want to drop $180 on courses I may not like.

Yes, although I was using USPS flat rate quotes which delivers to most places in Russia, including Novosibirsk (which IIRC is close to Mongolia). It was $80-100 which for how far + remote that is from CA relatively speaking, I actually thought it was a pretty fair... granted +$100 is definitely going to make a good deal not as good of a deal.

Yep, hence why I made this post in advance.

My dream setup from before I joined SBAF was Cavalli LC + EC Af... and it stayed that way until I heard (and purchased) the Stellaris... but after owning Stellaris for a while, there were still moments where I wanted both the Af and LC... Didn't think I'd be lucky enough to get two discontinued amps this year though.
