Where are the Lundahls?

They face sideways on the 8800, so the two OPT flanking the R-core trafo are Lundahl.

Ah okay, I saw other builds without them and these looked similar to the original trafos. Would be fun to listen to.

@dncnexus had a lot of fun building! just make sure you don't cheap out on the soldering iron like me because I had to resolder almost all of my joints heh. Also email Victor directly for the best deal instead of buying it from the website. Cool tip I learned from @famish99 .

@insidious meme no need to swap tubes for both modes, it's just a simple switch that toggles between Triode and Ultralinear mode

Nice work! And yeah, there is a big difference between a $25 iron and a $100 one. I love my Hakko. Can't live without it.

Did you finish this between the MCAT and now?

A good soldering station is a worthwhile investment. Hakko can be had for a little over $100. Mine is a decade old and still performing admirably.
