I think they are marginally more comfortable, with a little softer foam and larger diameter. Sound about the same, afaict. Worth it? Who tf knows?

More comfortable, more bass, reduction of upr mid-lwr treble spike. Note though @Philimon found the bass increase too much on his Portas.

I would try out stock first (I had like a decade of use with stock pads and no complaints). I did feel like they were both a comfort and sonic upgrade though and now I would never go back. Better stage was my primary sonic takeaway.
