Floodwaters at the gates, quite literally. Gonna be helping move some furniture around, nothing new but hopefully won't be as bad as Milenyo or Yolanda.

For the record I'm not as agitated by this as the last one. Property damage and inconvenience definitely, but I'm pretty sure people here won't be dying unless there's a surge in dengue or leptospirosis etc. No real fears of mudslides.

Flood just ankle level here, got off easy with typhoon moving out. Other areas up to necks with casualties esp among aged or people trapped in buildings. f'ing moron I am for above post, this is as bad as 2009 for many. Many stranded where they are.

Yeah, but that's no biggie since we managed to carry everything upstairs before it got that far, or prop stuff on tables.

Yup we had a fridge boat during a really bad one a few years back too. The more you know I guess, but may come in handy some time.
