        For the price it's a great headphone. Comfort wise the pads made it easier to wear as it didn't have a vice grip on my head like the Utopia. That headband needs to go and be replaced with something better.

        I have never heard an Elear with Clear pads, but it is difficult for me to believe that the gulf between the sound of my Elex and both of the Elear examples I have heard is solely due to pads. Sounded very different to me.
