    @Gazny - just cutting in half and removing seeds. Not an issue with milder peppers but after 20 scotch bonnet there's not much you can do to avoid contact without gloves

    @ everyone else - managed to avoid spreading capsaicin anywhere else thankfully. A bonus is that I have carpal tunnel issues and I heard capsaicin is a good treatment
