Reading a couple of reports from the Spanish and Italian sides of this. Seems like the Real and Barca fans were split on the idea, while Italian fans were mostly against it, although the coverage of this wasn't as wide spread as the English sides.

Oh, and yea you nailed it - that's when the point it comes in (at 3:30). For me it's an overused sound that I almost always find distracting and detracting from the music.

There is nothing musical about the clap. Except, maybe in Flamenco. Synthesised clap must be even worse. I see it even has a randomness button, so the electronic clappers can get it wrong, too. Shit.

@Imraan , I use the Dekoni hybrid elites on my Clear as they warm the HP up just a bit without messing with the Clear's strengths and they make the HP more comfortable - not HD6XX comfortable but a real improvement. These same pads take too much away from the Stelli/Utopia however

It's also the headphone itself that demands you pay attention. Can't really do anything else but listen when I'm using them. Honeymoon effect sure, but not entirely. They're doing a lot right to my ears.

Well the Sonos app that comes with their hardware can access it directly, so yes. Buried in that PIAES for dummies thread is several people mentioning using volumimo and what not to access it. I have not done anything with this project yet...

Buy @rhythmdevils's CA Ara if you want a borderline Super HD650 for IEMs for a good price. IEM market there's tons of stuff out there that can get overwhelming.

It could be borderline neutral/slight bright in treble on the M6 Pro with Ara (which is why @purr1n went with M6 regular), but with your tastes it should be excellent in theory. Don't recommend using it with Starlett unless you have IEMatch due to it sounds best on low Input Z.

HRTF differences. But yeah I have more fun with headphones cuz IEMs is just a massive brain spaghetti fest.

Thanks guys, I ended up purchasing one used via Amazon. We will see if it works. My inlaws don't even need the $50 a month 25mbps from VDSL, let alone cable/fios speed (which are all more expensive in our area) ;)

I picked which apartment complex to move into based on which ones had Google Fiber, this was an amazing decision. Google Fiber is hands down the best ISP I've ever had, its not even close.
