Oof, maybe the mods can restore his account. I like his sense of humor, don't always agree with his posts, but yeah the last week has been shit for everyone in the US. Good time for a bit of a break when it's too much.

For the record jk47 has spent the “last year” liking my posts. Suddenly I post political opinions he disagrees with in marv’s thread and he decides he hates me and rewrites history and goes on the attack.

Wtf is this? I’m not on trial here. I don’t owe you an explanation but I will briefly correct some of the inaccuracies in your attacks.

I didn’t “handle” anything. JK47 had some kind of mental breakdown across the entire forum (not just here) and asked to have his account deleted which was done as a favor for his contributions over the years. As you can read in my comments above I responded to his attacks saying that I liked him multiple times (except for one joke). I still do, snd hope he is ok.

I only posted in the roon thread for a few days trying to figure out why it wasn’t working. No one knew, I had to get it from roon staff on the roon forum. Then I expressed my frustration in how roon works because I really wanted to use it. I’m still frustrated by their design choices because it would make my UI experience much better.

I don’t need to justify my status on this forum to you. If you had been around longer or knew the history of this forum you would know why I’m staff.

Ok, since everything is already explained let's go back to not be at each others throats. Kumbaya and stuff.

@Elnrik - Whitney/@rhythmdevils was one of the original pirates and has contributed to the community much longer than myself and others. He has not been able to even use forums for years but 2020 brought him back to the community.

He has had an opportunity to digest the last 6-7 years of audio in a very short period of time which makes his content really f'ing helpful to new people. Are we all divisive to some? Sure. But Whitney has put more blood, sweat and tears into what is now SBAF and the people around it that he deserves his staff title more than many of us on staff.

That being said, @purr1n and I are exploring how we add ignore to everyone because that's just a sane feature to have. As our community grows, we'll have more diversity of thought and opinions and it's just an expected thing to have in 2020

might also be valid for 2021 ;) don't wanna be a smartass just thought we need some lighthearted comment here, too
