It sounds like a recording of music being played through speakers in a room or an artificial room effect is being used. Instruments sound small, constrained, and the same distance away from the listener like there's only one row and all of the musicians are standing side by side. Decays from instruments, giving a sense of room size isn't there.

Yes and no:

No: Many reasons, but the biggest being it sounds like everything is coming from a 8x8 room, but we know that you physically cannot fit all of the instruments in 8x8 room.

Yes: One could also argue that all of the issues for "no" are just due to "bad recording". I'm sure we've all heard imperfect "real" recordings before or even deliberately lo-fi recordings, etc.
