    Lycos was my search engine of choice when I was introduced to internet (it was either AskJeeves, Yahoo or Lycos from memory). I found Lycos had the cleanest page presentation.

    I'm surprised they still have the email service. I stopped using it like in 2003?
    I was pretty sure they were dead last time I checked. I tried to log in but it seems it's all new and now it's paid subscription.

    I definitely don’t prefer Lycos over Gmail, but I have had this email for so long it is my goto address for signing up for everything, it is linked to so many different accounts that I’d rather just pay the yearly fee at least for now than try to extricate everything that is connected to it. I have Gmail too and use that for personal correspondence.
