I don't have a headband for you, but what kind of things are you looking for for fit? I take it I have a rare head shape that has never had an issue with Sennheiser fit. Rotation of the cups?
@fraggler to be honest even an exact fit replica would be good enough, but I imagine having some way to adjust clamp would be better for those with big heads. Or just a HD580 fit clone (those fit a bit looser)
I don't understand why there's a huge aftermarket Grado headband selection but not Senns. Senns are just as popular, and the tooling seems just as simple.
As a member of big head + klingon ridge club, yes, the Senn 580/600 series headband could improve slightly, but it's already the most comfortable for me during long sessions VS any other headband I've tried (from suspension type bands like Audeze/ZMF/DCA to other clamp bands like Focal).
In order for this to be a homerun, it'd need to be a bit modular. So, one strap/band/pad design with 3 or 4 or 5 different gimbal mount types and gimbal spacings. That's a lot of injection mold tooling startup cost.
