Corporate pickups at 4:30pm also sometimes doesn't happen. Call to local post office? Nobody there. This is the USA at it's best (not).

@Phantaminum it was like that for me for the last 20 years, regardless of who is running the show.

It could of possibly been that way in Florida but not in Texas. Anything I sent through normal mail or a package (if it wasn't lost) always ended up on time.

Now that would be communism. The USPS is already an independent agency of the executive branch of the United States. UPS and/or FedEx is also not equipped to handle our daily mail. And UPS already taking quite advantage of USPS.

And if you think USPS is US at is best, where you been for 30 years. Going postal on us? Yes, it sucks and mismanaged. Postal everywhere sucks. I ordered tubes from Russia off the bay mid April. They just arrived in NYC two days ago. In Mother Russia, package track YOU!

I can confirm that USPS in N. TX has been excellent IME up until recently.

USPS is broken. Especially here in Chicago. 50% of time package will be marked as delivered, but not show up for a couple days or never. We have a Ring that records movement, so we know that the packages aren't getting stolen by passerbyes.

USPS was great where I am up until the cuts last spring. I’ve also had bad experiences with throwing/breaking packages from FedEx and DHL. Fewest bad experiences with UPS, but also seems to be most expensive.
