Busy, long-term goals in sight and improving my cooking skills. A good risotto is worth all the preparation. Tomorrow ratatouille. Mar 26, 2024 at 5:53 PM

Carbs are something I wish I had some more experience with. Buddy of mine and I refurbed a Yamaha XJ750. Tuning the 3x carbs was a nightmare. Never ran right (well, never perfectly), but the yammy 750 sound is soo gooood.

I work in hospitality. Some new-to-hospitality "colleagues" told me to be more like them. Yeah, f**k no. You do not survive the grind by leaving a mess. Amsterdam can be harsh when you fail to clean up your mess. About 10-ish years of hospitality, if they even knew the B.S. I had to survive...

Depends on which city. I lived in tough cities for 40 years. Yeah, it toughened me up. But it also broke me a few times. Raleigh, with its metro area of 1 million, is a sleepy town—but I'll take it!

The great part about lenovo is the ability to repair. If you end up upgrading, I have the T480 after upgrading from a T440. I think it is a nice upgrade and still keeps the good of the earlier line of thinkpads.
