    Still the t50rp is like $150 and pads and tuning stuff shouldn't be $150. Also no assembly costs.

    I don't know if Japan has some kind of VAT that doesn't apply to the USA. The price of the assembled T50RP is ¥25000 which is ~$230. Seems like a lot more than the US price.

    I presume the extra pads and damping is what you pay for. Or the driver could be custom,
