PLUS mode is where it really shines, though, imo. Wouldn't care much about it otherwise. Tried it with FDX1 and SR325X.

I have it installed, but don't remember seeing a "PLUS mode". How do you enable it?

@gixxerwimp While the Walkman is booting and showing its startup screens, push the Hold button up. You can check by going to Settings > Unit Information; it should show (Plus) under System Software. Hope this helps! :D

I did the update last Nov so PLUS didn't exist yet.

@gixxerwimp Apparently there are two versions of the firmware now for ZX300: Project-Z (warmer tone) and DMP-300 (neutral-ish). Interesting. I really should try the warmer one soon.

I didn't dive back in too deep, but I had the "DMP-300 FE" from last Nov. It didn't have PLUS mode. Installed the "Project_Z" and yeah it's quite a bit warmer ... I like!
