Only if I don't really care about the movie, but do care about whoever made the soundtrack. Like dune, I would listen to the soundtrack, I like Hans Zimmer's stuff, but I don't have any plans to see the movie
I don't. It's crazy but feel like it might subconsciously spoil the movements of the film. But then again, I don't watch trailers either, unless it's a movie I know the only way I'll see it is if the trailer engages me.
Reverse for me. I watch random movies that pique my interest and only check out soundtracks that stick out to me. Full disclosure though this happens far more often with video games than anything else haha
@spwath, his over use of ululating female voices has always bugged me, and when it comes to actual themes, he's vastly inferior to Williams and Horner. On the positive side I think he comes up with some epic musical sound effects.
Yes @Mithrandir41 but is he trying to be a Williams or Horner? He's sort of like a blues man, who plays the same 12 bar progression over and over and over...but is good at it.
