I'm kind of struggling to get through the previous season still. The Amos sidetrack is kind of boring, but I get that they are trying to wrap things up.
The only season I like less than the others is season 4, I thought it was kinda weak. Season 5 though I loved, thought it was just as good as 2 honestly
@Senorx12562 no way they can fit those three books into just one movie. I get why they didn’t make those into more seasons since the material is hard/expensive to film. And there are other factors i won’t spoil but i’m surprised and disappointed they crammed the last season into 6 episodes.
Yeah this post was almost entirely about me not even realizing it was the final episode until I was like 15 minutes from the end. I didn't know it was only going to be 6 episodes.
I know I have seen them basically saying they will be looking for a new home for the show, but if syfy canned it and so did amazon, I have my doubts it'll be picked up anywhere else, which is a shame.
If there was not at least a plan to go further somehow, the Laconia plotline should have been left out entirely, as it is pointless as it was left. But I am clueless (usually).
please no spoilers for anything not in the show, I will read the books at some point once its clear no more tv show will be coming lol but I agree, the whole laconia plot shouldn't have even been there, they didn't go anywhere with it
The Laconia plotline feels like setup for a next installment (series/movie) if they can find funding and distribution for it. At first I didn't like that plotline, but towards the end I like how they built up to the big reveal of... well, no spoilers here.
I think the showrunners did a good job with Season 6 given the constraints they had. I just watched the last episode and found it satisfying and a nice place to stop (hopefully just pause, but I'm not getting my hopes up) the series.
